The Company
The founders of Lean Concepts AB have been fascinated since many years by the successful business model and philosophy used for decades by Toyota. This is often referred to as the Toyota Production System (TPS), Lean Thinking, or just the "Toyota model". This led us to in depth study the thinking behind it and the tools that help to implement it.
We ensured at an early stage the establishment of contacts and relationships with people with extensive and first hand experience from inside Toyota. Among these people, with whom we are closely affiliated today, are those who have held executive and management positions within Toyota in Japan and USA.
Lean Concepts AB is part of an international network of leading Lean practitioners, Lean Transformations Group. Within this network we ensure that besides formal competence and experiences, values and the correct application of "Lean Thinking" are also coherent within the group. The importance of understanding Lean as a management philosophy and concept, and NOT just as a series of tools to eliminate waste, is fundamental to the group. Working with our customers, it is a prerequisite that the organization has the support and commitment by company management.
We are proud to be affiliated with the Lean Transformations Group.
